Eagledale Pottery Studio

The Eagledale Pottery Studio has been operating since 1979 when it was initially a shared studio with art classes.

When the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District acquired Strawberry Hill Center from the Bainbridge Island School District in the early 1990s, Eagledale Art Studio became Eagledale Pottery Studio, with art classes relocated to Strawberry Hill Center.

This studio is the only public pottery studio in Kitsap County, operating under the management of the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District. This studio is equipped with electric kilns, a raku kiln, gas kilns, a slab roller, electric and kick wheels, kick wheels, and a wide variety of sculpture and hand-building equipment. Students can access various glazes, including electric cone 6, gas reduction cone 10, and raku.

The staff’s enthusiasm, talent, and dedication and this well-equipped facility have attracted students of all ages and abilities. Classes and workshops are held year-round.
