Our experienced staff is passionate about getting folks out in the wilderness backpacking, mountain biking, sailing, skiing, and even foraging for wild foods. After all, even when they aren’t working in the field, our staff are out packing the peaks, boating little-known waters, or finding that secret cache of chanterelles.

Sailing Coordinator
The youngest of six kids, Haley was born in Dallas, Texas, and spent most of her childhood growing up on a lake near Ft. Worth where she learned to sail and water ski. Her boat club’s junior sailing coach encouraged her to start racing at age 8, and by middle school she was competing at the national level. Read More…

Eric is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, and obtained his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Grand Valley State University. Eric moved out to the Pacific Northwest in 2008 to work on Mt. Rainier’s Ecological Restoration crew and has become enamored with the natural beauty of the landscape of this region, and the privilege that it is to live here. Read More…
