Understanding the Catalog
Class descriptions include a class name, course description, location, instructor’s name, and activity number. Below the class description, you will see an activity number and the section number, days, times, dates, and fees. Classes with a ++ symbol at the end of the description are eligible for helpline vouchers. Programs that have the % symbol are taxable. Please include the activity and section numbers on your registration form to register.
Teen Classes
Teen classes offer young people the opportunity to experience various activities during their free time. Young people develop personal interests and abilities by trying new things, exploring new places, and making new friends. The Park District has many things happening specifically for teens. You can check them out in our most recent catalog, which is available on our homepage. Look for the purple star throughout the catalog for additional programs that are a great fit for teens.
How to Register
- Online
Online registration is the most efficient method of registering for programs. Register for classes with our WebTrac system and submit credit card payments online. Registration is processed immediately, and you can print the confirmation form and receipt.
Registration requires a username and password. If you can’t remember your login information, please call our Customer Service Desk at 206-842-2302 at least one day before registration opens.
During a high volume of website traffic, the online registration system will place patrons in a waiting queue. The waiting queue saves your place in line and helps keep the website running smoothly.

Financial Assistance
The Park District aims to make recreational opportunities accessible. There are two distinct ways patrons can take advantage of financial assistance programs. Helpline House distributes Park District funds to individuals and families. The Park District also participates in programs offered by the Developmental Disabilities Administration with assistance from the WA State Department of Social and Health Services. They provide individuals with Individual and Family Services, Basic Plus, or Core Waivers. As a result, total or partial fee waivers are available for most Park District recreation and aquatic classes for qualified families and individuals. To learn more, click here (will have information on the “Policies & Information Webpage, please link) or contact Helpline House at 206-842-7621.
