There’s just not enough room at the schools for all the activities we want kids to try! By also utilizing our Metro Park facilities and contracted spaces, the Park District is able to expand activity choices available to families.
Here’s what’s happening outside of the schools: Ukulele Club at the Island Music Center, Sewing classes at the Aquatic Center classroom, early release Monday Chess & Games Club at the Aquatic Center, and Active Art & Science Monday Labs at Camp Yeomalt.
Sometimes all Bainbridge public school students are out, sometimes only certain schools. On these days “off”, families need supervision options and kids are looking for fun. We are great at providing both!
Here are a few things that happen on no-school days: Bricks 4 Kidz Lego ® Camps, All-day Chess Festivals & Tournaments, Active Art & Science worskops at Camp Yeomalt, and Red Cross Babysitter training at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center. Be sure to check the Outdoor, Sports and Aquatic catalog sections for the full menu of current school’s out fun!
