Welding Classes with Jeremy Loerch
Joining metal with heat is a process that has been used since the Bronze Age. Classes are primarily taught in3 types of welding: MIG (metal inert gas), TIG (tungsten inert gas), and arc (stick). “I have been working with metal since I was 13 years old as a hobby. I began “official” trade training at 21 to fulfill my continuing education course and maintain my K-8 teaching certificate. After 13 years of teaching Kindergarten, K-5 technology courses, middle school graphic arts, and sculpture, I opened my hotrod and motorcycle shop, which transformed into my current business, Alchemy Industrial Arts. The transformation was partly due to my need to create art still and help youth and adults learn this trade in a project-based method.”
