Gymnastics - Girls Classes

What to Wear:

Participants should wear a leotard, sweats, or shorts and a tshirt. Hair needs to be pulled back and out of face. No clothing items with zippers buttons or snaps may be worn to prevent scratching the equipment.All watches and jewelry must be taken off before class in order to participate. (Small stud earrings may be worn)

Beginning Girls Gymnastics

For females with no gymnastics experience, or who have some gymnastics experience on all the events but are still working on mastering them. Instructor challenges each participant based on their individual skill level. Class concentrates on instruction of basic tumbling and skill work on each of the girls’ apparatus.

Beginner 1 Girls

For girls with little or no experience. Class concentrates on total body awareness, strength, and coordination through basic gymnastic skills in tumbling, balance beam, bars and vaulting.

Beginner 2 Girls

For girls who have completed Beginner 1 or have been placed by an instructor.

Intermediate & Advanced Girls

For the serious female gymnast! Must have completed the beginning level. This class is geared for training girls to reach a competitive level, or to build a repertoire of skills, build strength and flexibility. 

Intermediate Girls

For girls who have completed Beginner 2 or have been placed by an instructor.

Advanced Girls

High School Gymnastics Class (8th-12th grade)

For students who want to learn in an environment with their peers and who have the desire to improve their skills for the BHS Gymnastics Team. Class will focus on basics for all the events plus trampoline, stretching, and conditioning.
